Presents at the door

Sunday night bonfire.  Matthew was napping.
When he woke up he was so sorry he missed it!
So he went and enjoyed the coals.

Clive reading to his brothers at bedtime in the worlds smallest bed.
This arrived on my front step yesterday!  Brand-spankin-new!  A good friend told me to always buy Sunbeam products because of their return policy.  Sure enough, my bread maker broke after less than a year, and Sunbeam sent me a new one.  Yay!  Hopefully this one lasts longer.

I asked Matthew to feed Molly this morning and here's what I found.  Weetabix is a big favorite around here.

David's seventh birthday party

Here I am in all my glory.  This was taken when the seven year old party was almost done.  I'm still smiling!  Apparently a little over dramatic according to Daddy.

I made the prizes for the party of three girls and three boys.  Dolls for the girls and hacky sacks for the boys.  I was pleased that they liked the prizes, you never know what kids like these days!

We had egg and spoon races, a treasure hunt, pop the balloons, Twister, and a version of spin the bottle with pass the parcel.  Non stop fun for 3.5 hours.

David needed a fork to eat his cupcake.  He was still eating long after everyone had left the table.  He was so happy I felt really good about his little party.  This was time well spent.  Happy 7th birthday David!

David's Birthday

David had a special 7th birthday of moving in to his own room!  He happily put all his things away and organized it just the way he wanted.  He and Clive decorated cupcakes for after the roast chicken dinner.

All of the Christmas things are put away and the blog book for 2012 has been ordered.
We all look forward to what 2013 will bring!

Happy New Year!

Uncle Clive and Shack here for a visit.

Games and good times at the Schoyens on Boxing Day.

New Years Eve!

Pass the parcel, followed by a countdown, then HAPPY NEW YEAR! (at 9:00 pm)
The kids all climbed into the bunk beds and watched a show so they could stay up till midnight.  We didn't think they would make it, but they did!  Every single kid was up at midnight!
Dropped like flies after though.

Christmas Day

New 'jammies from Kelly's mum!

What Christmas does to us.

Christmas Eve in Victoria.

Dinner at friends who are almost constantly building or renovating.  Brings back memories of Water Valley!

The Cliffs over Maple Bay gone bankrupt.  Great place to play and dig for treasure.
