Calgary

Bernadette flew Kelly and I out to Calgary this past weekend for Granny Pat's 88th birthday.

I haven't seen Bernadette for about 15 years.  It was a very nice birthday, granny Pat seemed to enjoy herself.

While staying with mum and dad we had special visitors.

A rare picture of Kelly with her dad.

And of course, some Ginger.

We had a bumpy plane ride home.  It was very windy and the young lady next to me was having a panic attack.  I did my best to distract her by talking to her the whole time which is rather difficult for a quiet person.
That afternoon Clive looked out the kitchen window and said "Look!  The rotten tree finally came down!"  We all looked out to see this.

Clivey took my camera out and took these photos.
No casualties, just a little excitement.

Saturdays

Saturday mornings are french toast mornings.  Daddy makes breakfast and it's so good who has time for cutting it up?!

Saturday night is movie night.  We use this as a bribe for the boys to do their chores and behave during the day.  Last Saturday I had dinner in the oven and the boys were eagerly awaiting their movie.  Suddenly the power was out.  Tired boys were not impressed.  About an hour later it came back on much to everyones relief.  Sanity restored.
