Spring Break

Our kids get to spend spring break at the spa.

How lucky is that!?

And when we're not havin' fun at the spa there's plenty to do at home.  Here is David washing dishes with my huge rubber gloves on.
I can't believe they actually miss school...

Okay, it's not all bad.  They have a Tofino holiday to look forward to and right after that Grandma and Grandpa arrive.

the very beginning

Life is always busy.  Here we are at Clive's soccer practice.
He is so beautiful to watch.  Doesn't really go for the ball much but loves to run.

And this is how we've all been feeling lately.

Mommy is going back to work.
I am so happy I was able to have these years at home with the boys.
Now, it's time to let go a little bit and take on my own life again.
So, I'm having another baby.  Well, not a human baby... another spa.  I'm in the very beginning stages, but I have leased my space and love it!  Tomorrow I am buying a massage table.

and it begins...

10th Birthday party

Clive requested that everyone bring earbuds for laser tag.

Matthew joined in with his cap gun.

What had started as a gray day ended up being beautiful sunshine and over 10 degrees C.
Probably because it was Clives party day and he deserved it!

These gun wielding boys were so kind and polite to each other.  They played outside from 3:30 until 5:30, came in for food and cupcakes and were back outside at 6:00.

The real fun started when it got dark.  All I could see were lights dancing around the back field.

Clive planned this whole party himself.  I did the cooking and baking, but he took care of everything else and everyone had a fantastic time.
Well done Clive!

....spring?..

I don't want to get too excited, but we're seeing some signs of spring.

Like, Molly staying outside.

Little purple flowers...

coffee time outside...

A really beautiful day today.  Clive got his 'toe shoes' for his birthday and has been running ever since. Matthew catching chickens and David shooting at something or other.

Off to register a business name...
