ahh warmth

We've managed to spend a wee bit of time playing at the beach.  David is happy to make tunnels with his shovel.  Matthew is creative with whatever he can find on the beach.

Clive likes to carve with his precious pocket knife.  This is a great place to take a breather from the usual chaos.

Marc took the boys swimming at the hotel pool.  This is one of their favorite things to do.

After losing some masks, Clive and David have wheeled and dealed and now each have their own masks.  David hardly uses his, but god forbid Clive should have something he doesn't!  Matthew jumps in and paddles around like a puppy, I must be careful not to EAT HIM UP!

The spa is evolving.  It has walls and insulation now.  I am so excited!

a birthday week!

My birthday was truly a great day.  I did a pedicure for a long lost client whose company I enjoy.  I came home to new massage tables in the carport.  The insulation and drywall began at the spa.  Clive and David each sang to me in french and all four boys (Marc too) had a card for me.  There were phones calls and emails that were so sweet.  I am very lucky to have all of these people in my life!

Earlier in the week I took the boys to Victoria to meet Kelly's mum.

We had a great time with many laughs.

This is a very exciting time as we await the arrival of Grandma and Grandpa, our wwoofer from Germany and possibly an au pair from France!  And 60 day old chicks on May 23...

Never a dull moment!

Spring Break continued

Spring Break is two weeks long.

There have been all kinds of ups and downs at the spa.

We have had glorious weather!  The boys have been lighting little fires with magnifying glasses.  (grandma and grandpa don't worry, this is nothing compared to the fire we had out back...)

The kids are old enough to realize the importance of fitness, so here we are at the outside gym.

Lots of fun!

Matthew is swimming without waterwings.  He is sooo happy!

I hope this fantastic weather stays.
