Grandma and Grandpa visit

 We had a great two weeks with Grandma and Grandpa!  Gates repaired, bushes trimmed and plenty of mowing has happened.

Dinner at the CVI to wrap up family time.  Fun times and super memories!

The Big Day

After raising money for Air Cadets 744 (Clive is by himself on the right), Clive got to go gliding today!  He absolutely loved it.  A pilot in the making.  

Mommy went on the Times Columnist 10K run with her only running friend Sharon.  It has been five years since we did the last one together.  We had a great time and took along the Monet Spa team as well.  We pushed on from sore knees, shoulders, etc. and finished in good time feeling great!

Nicole on the left took off like a gazelle, lovely and young and graceful.  I had to line up at a port-a-potty after 2 kms.  (Thank you Clive, David, and Matthew) but had a good laugh with the lovely Sharon beside me.  Then, when her knee gave out, I left her.  Not much to be done with a lousy knee so I told her to put on the headphones.  Some friends allow this sort of behaviour.

Just under 8000 people ran the 10k.  This was a great Sunday morning!!
