Easter with the McGowans

Our usual walk to the beach. We couldn't resist getting a pic of this this beautiful tree.  We came home to make turkey dinner for the McGowans, Fellows and Schoyens.

Sunday morning. This is the indoor egg/present hunt.   A booklet of clever math, English and science questions that had to be answered before hunting each room. Thank you Bernice for this great idea!

Here is another walk to the beach after hunting for eggs for an hour on the property. We had rain and shine. Such a super time, 8 boys here.

Chicks

One of our little trees came down in one of our wind storms I guess. Nobody heard it, we just stumbled upon it.  This one was quite a leaner, now an empty spot in the sky. 

20 Rhode Island Reds arrived today. 

Hope they don't chirp all night, they're in the living room until they get a little bigger. 

Clive turns 13

Clive had his 13th birthday all planned. 

Nerf wars for six of his friends and camping in the trailer.  The sun came out and we had a super weekend with all of these boys who have known each other since grade one. They all got along so well, just loads of fun.

Then, this afternoon, Matthew learned to ride his bike. So excited for summer bike rides!
