Blueberries

Went to Ecostravaganza yesterday and as well as having a great time, we picked up our 10 blueberry plants.

The boys happily helped me to plant them in the late afternoon.  It was a glorious day, so hot our new WWOOFer got a sunburn!  Poor Linda.

Sadly, our little bunny died.  The boys were prepared for this though, and were okay.

We have ten more laying chickens.  They are nice looking birds but can't keep up with the ol' ladies next door.  The scruffy elderly chickens still produce more and bigger eggs.  We are letting them free range.  Must get some netting so we can let the pretty birds out too.

Cherry tree is LOADED.  We're eyeing up the birds and they're eyeing us up.  hmmmm, who's gonna get them??
